Hey there! I’m Sarah, the owner of Thrive Film Co. I’m sure if you’re reading this you’re wondering a little bit more about who I am and what qualifies me to film for your business. So, let’s get into it!
I started filming individuals’ stories in college. I had so many friends who were starting businesses, getting married, and doing awesome things in the community. I loved to tell stories through video, so naturally, I started filming their weddings, special moments, and business ventures. It wasn’t long until I knew this is something I wanted to do as career.
At that point (a decade ago – crazy!) Gold + Sage was born. I focused on telling personal stories like weddings and family films, but soon realized that businesses needed and wanted my films. It took a white until I realized that local businesses have such important stories to tell. Over the last 10 years, I’ve had the pleasure of working with purpose driven companies seeking to better our community through employing special needs adults like 321 Coffee or educating and empowering parents with Nurtured Nest and UNC REX hospitals. Over the past decade as a filmmaker, I’ve learned that everyone has a story and everyone is in business for a reason greater than themselves. In today’s world, the average consumer is looking to support local more than ever. Not only local, but also truly good people. If your business has a story to tell, I want to tell it and your customers what to hear it. That’s why I do what I do.
